Double-Degree Program

General Information

Extending and strengthening international cooperations has become a significant goal for Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg (OvGU). Due to this fact, the Faculty of Economics and Finance established various international cooperations. The double-degree program is one example of these successful cooperations. The program conveys a high-quality international education combined with an intercultural experience.

Students of the OvGU Bachelor of Science program in Management and Economics have the opportunity to take part in double-degree programs with Ukrainian universities during their 5th and 6th semester. After graduating successfully, participants will receive a Bachelor of Science degree from OvGU. Additionally, they will earn a Bachelor of Science degree in International Economics from University of Donezk (DonNTU) or a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from University of Kharkov (KhPI).

Students from DonNTU and KhPI study at OvGU from their 5th to 8th semester and earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Economics in addition to the Ukrainian Bachelor of Science degree in International Economics and International Business, respectively. Since German and Ukrainian students jointly study at OvGU for two semesters, scientific and intercultural exchange is intensified.
